Station Alert

Waterloo East has no direct level access from the Street. There are three ways to access Waterloo East station.

The main entrance and only step free access to route to Waterloo East station is through the use of a lift from Waterloo Main station, then level access via the connecting overbridge and steep ramps to the platforms.

There is a second entrance from Southwark underground station but this involves either steps or an escalator.

The third access is via steps only from the Sandall Street entrance onto the overbridge connection between Waterloo East and Waterloo main stations.

There is a taxi rank at the Cab Road exit from Waterloo Main station.

Note: There is no ticket office at Waterloo East, full ticket office facilities are available in Waterloo Main station.
